This Privacy Policy explains how Benex (“Benex,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit benex.com (the “Site”), contact us, request a quote, or otherwise interact with us online or offline. Benex is a United States system integrator, value-added reseller, structured cabling contractor and managed IT services provider. We serve business customers, so most of the information we handle relates to people acting in a professional capacity.
Personal information we process while delivering managed IT, network, security or cabling services to our customers (for example, data on systems we monitor or support) is governed by our written agreements with those customers. In those cases we act as a service provider or processor on the customer’s behalf.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact and quote requests: name, company, job title, business email, the service you are interested in, project details and anything else you include in a form or email.
- Customer and vendor records: billing contacts, purchase orders, site addresses, project documentation and correspondence.
- Job applications: resume, work history and other details you choose to send.
- Communications: emails, chat messages, meeting notes and feedback you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, clicks, scrolls and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Cookies, pixels and similar technologies: small files and scripts that remember preferences, measure traffic and help us understand which marketing works. See “Cookies and similar technologies” below.
- Server and security logs: records used to keep the Site available and protect it from abuse.
Information from other sources
- Advertising and analytics partners (for example, aggregated campaign performance and audience insights).
- Technology manufacturers and distributors we work with (for example, deal registration or lead referrals).
- Public sources and professional networks such as company websites and LinkedIn.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, health data or biometric data) through the Site. Please do not send it to us through our forms.

- Respond to inquiries and quote requests, typically within one business day.
- Scope, deliver, support and invoice our products and services.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Site.
- Measure Site traffic and the performance of our content and advertising.
- Send service updates and, where permitted, marketing emails you can opt out of at any time.
- Show relevant ads on other websites and platforms (where permitted and subject to your choices).
- Detect and prevent spam, fraud and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We and our partners may use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags and software development kits. They fall into these categories:
- Strictly necessary: required for the Site to work, such as security, load balancing, form submission and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional: remember preferences and enable embedded content such as maps and videos.
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
- Advertising: measure ad conversions and build audiences for remarketing on platforms such as Google, Microsoft, Meta and LinkedIn.
Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and we may use Google Consent Mode so Google tags adjust their behavior to your choices. You can change your choices at any time through our cookie settings (when available), your browser settings, or the opt-out links listed below. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
Third-party services and integrations
We use, or may use, the following third-party services to run the Site and our business. Each provider handles information under its own privacy policy, linked below. The exact tools in use can change over time.
Google services
- Google Analytics 4 measures how visitors find and use the Site.
- Google Tag Manager manages the tags and scripts on the Site.
- Google Ads (conversion tracking, remarketing and enhanced conversions) measures and improves our advertising. Enhanced conversions may send a hashed (one-way encrypted) version of the email you submit to Google for matching.
- Google Search Console reports how the Site performs in Google Search.
- Google Business Profile and Google Maps show our locations and embedded maps.
- Google reCAPTCHA protects our forms from spam and abuse.
- Google Fonts and YouTube embeds deliver typefaces and video content.
- Google Workspace may be used for email, documents and collaboration.

Microsoft and Bing services
- Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) and its Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag measure conversions and support remarketing on Bing and partner sites.
- Microsoft Clarity captures how you use and interact with the Site through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay to help us improve the Site and our marketing. Site usage data is captured with first-party and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies. Form fields are masked by default.
- Bing Webmaster Tools reports how the Site performs in Bing search.
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) may be used for email, meetings and file sharing, and Microsoft Bookings for scheduling.

Meta services (Facebook and Instagram)
- Meta Pixel and the Conversions API measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads and build audiences for remarketing.
- Facebook and Instagram pages and lead forms may collect information you submit directly to Meta.

LinkedIn and other social platforms
- LinkedIn Insight Tag provides conversion tracking, retargeting and aggregated audience insights. Read LinkedIn’s Privacy Policy and manage ad settings in your LinkedIn account.
- X (Twitter), YouTube and other social platforms may be used for content and advertising, including their conversion or remarketing tags.
Website, hosting and security
- WordPress and plugins such as Elementor and Yoast SEO power the Site.
- Web hosting, content delivery network (CDN) and security services, such as Cloudflare, deliver the Site and block malicious traffic.
- Form, email delivery and spam-filtering services route your submissions to our team.
- SEO and marketing research tools, such as Semrush, analyze search visibility. These tools generally do not receive information about individual visitors.
Business operations
- Customer relationship management (CRM), marketing automation and live chat tools (for example, HubSpot, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics) store inquiries and manage follow-up.
- Scheduling and video meeting tools (for example, Calendly, Microsoft Teams or Zoom).
- Accounting, invoicing and payment tools (for example, Intuit QuickBooks). Payment card details are handled by the payment processor, not stored on the Site.
- Remote support, monitoring and ticketing platforms we use to deliver managed services to customers under contract.
How we share information
- Service providers that host, analyze, secure, communicate or otherwise process information for us under contract.
- Advertising and analytics partners listed above, subject to your choices.
- Manufacturers, distributors and partners when needed to quote, register, order, ship, license or support products for you (for example, deal registration or warranty activation).
- Subcontractors and installers working on your project under our supervision.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, legal process or to protect the rights, property or safety of Benex, our customers or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising cookies and pixels described above may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or “targeted advertising,” under certain U.S. state laws. You can opt out as described below.
Your choices
- Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
- Cookies and ads: use our cookie settings (when available), your browser controls, or the platform opt-out links above. You can also visit optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): we treat a valid GPC signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising for that browser.
- Do Not Track: there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, so we do not respond to them. We do honor GPC as described above.
Your U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Obtain a portable copy of your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require this right).
- Appeal our decision on your request, where your state provides that right.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

We will verify your request by matching information you provide with information we hold, and we will respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and ask you to verify your identity. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.”
California notice at collection
In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email and IP address); professional or employment information (such as company and job title); commercial information (such as products and services requested or purchased); internet or other electronic network activity (such as browsing and interaction data); approximate geolocation; and inferences drawn from these. We collect them from you, your devices and the sources described above, for the business purposes described in “How we use information.” We disclose them to the categories of recipients described in “How we share information.” Identifiers and internet activity may be “shared” with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Nevada residents may submit a request to opt out of the sale of covered information by emailing us.
Visitors outside the United States
The Site is operated in the United States and information is processed in the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Türkiye, we process personal information on the basis of your consent (for example, for non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (for example, responding to business inquiries and securing the Site), the performance of a contract, and compliance with legal obligations. Subject to local law, including the GDPR, the UK GDPR and Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for international transfers.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Inquiry and quote records are generally kept for up to three years after our last interaction; customer, project and financial records are kept for the duration of the relationship plus the period required for legal, tax, warranty and audit purposes. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to each provider’s settings, which we keep at or below 14 months where the tool allows.
How we protect information
Security is our business. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, multi-factor authentication, least-privilege permissions, logging and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
The Site links to manufacturer, partner and social media websites that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date and, where required, notify you by other means.
